Omi-Apata LCDA Empowers Farmers with Fertilizers, Planters and Sprayers

The Caretaker Chairman of Omi-Apata Local Council Development Area, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo, empowered farmers in the council area with bags of fertiliser, manual planters and knapsack sprayers.

The chairman also launched Omi-Apata LCDA rice and chlorinated wells in the council area, marking a significant step toward agricultural self-sufficiency and improved access to clean water for communities.

This initiative was part of the council's broader strategy to boost agricultural productivity, enhance food security, and support local farmers with modern farming tools and inputs.
