Who We Are
Omi-Apata Local Council Development Area was one of the 35 LCDAs created during the governance of Late Senator Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi on 23rd August 2016. The LCDA was carved out of Ido Local Government and has its headquarters located at the ancient Omi-Adio town, behind A.B.C. Clinic, Sure-P Building, beside Ultra Modern Omi Titun Market.
Omi-Apata LCDA comprises 4 Political Wards (Wards 6, 7, 9 & 10) and includes over 300 towns and villages. The council area is basically an agrarian region, with a large portion of its population engaged in the cultivation of food and cash crops as their primary means of livelihood.
The LCDA is strategically located on the Abeokuta road via Bakatari road, making it well-positioned for business activities and economic growth.
